This is very sad news for me. We bought a home in 1998 one block south of the corner of Brookstown and Marshall, the same year Ollie's opened in that location. It was on one of my dog-walking routes and I was a (too) frequent customer. Even though we moved from W-S in 2008, I have very fond memories of our neighborhood bakery. R.I.P.
That's sad, as it was a cute spot. I hate to say it, but I encountered rude service in there more than once, and the quality, normally high, wasn't particularly consistent. That's probably what kept me from visiting more frequently, and I'd imagine it didn't help its long-term business prospects.

I'll bet that was after it was sold in 2006. I noticed a distinct difference under the original owner and the one who closed it.
Sorry to hear about the decline in service and the closing. I went there several times years ago and liked it (the original owner was still there), but I haven't been in a while because it's a bit out of the way for me.
