That part of the article is simply marketing speak. It's PR. Nothing more. Nothing less. In truth, this is run of the mill. It's also still a positive development for that general area.
That's true. I'll keep my fingers crossed but my expectations low.

If it looks bad in the rendering I'm scared to see what the reality will look like.

Scared is a bit strong. It's a shopping center with some apartments. Nothing more and nothing less. In that area, hoping for or expecting more at this time would be a bit silly.

If this were proposed in a more established and dense part of Greensboro it might be concerning. Where this is going, this is still improvement. I'm wondering if a non Wal-Mart/Food Lion grocery store could go here such as Aldi or Lidl.

The article says Walmart prohibits any grocery competitors at this location.

Dang. It's gonna be a food restriction like Harris teeter at friendly situation. .. those turf restrictions are insane . Image if it applied to other types of stores lol.. not sure how grocery stores get away with it.

Ahh. I don't subscribe so the only thing I can see is the map.

Oh well, maybe in the near future the lack of a competing grocery store outside of Wal-Mart and Food Lion will allow someone to put something else anchored by a grocery store nearby.
