Sorry I'm late, but I'm a Red Oak fan through & through. Red Oak is not bottled due to the fact that it must be kept cold because it is not pastuerized(sp?). As other posters have mentioned its only available on tap or keg. The restaurant where Red Oak got its start closed somtime ago and was the only place you could buy smaller quantities (growlers) of Red Oak beers. I have heard rumors they are working on bottling (please, please, pretty please!).

My dad brings it to us in growlers directly from the brewery in or near Burlington. I like the Hummingbird the best. A growler isn't too much beer. My husband and I can drink one in a night if it is a weekend!

Are you saying that you can buy growlers direct from the brewery?

Default Red Oak

RO has to be my all-time favorite beer. I suspect if it is ever available in bottles, it wouldn't be the same. Not to say that I wouldn't give it a try.

O'Dwyers in Wake Forest, outside of Heritage Golf Course. A couple of us stopped after golf. They're great and now I'm looking for somewhere to pick up a case.

oh, my gosh... I miss the Red Oak Pub/Resturant they had near Guildford College in Greensboro.

Many nice afternoons, or evenings spent in the bar...on the patio...or listening to live music.

What I wouldn't give for one more "Battlefield"
