This news came today during the InnoVenture Southeast conference in Greenville. $15 Million from taxpayers will be used to launch the new program and hire 120 new workers in Simpsonville. The company expects electric vehicles will be its 2nd largest market by 2020. More details to come...

Should dovetail nicely with Proterra's offerings! Maybe an electric vehicle cluster will develop in the area.

Could happen. There is also the electric car company from Korea that is setting up in Spartanburg County.
