6,825 Warriors in the stands tonight! The biggest crowd in Road Warriors history.

Official attendance for tonight's Greenville Road Warriors game: 7,529. And no that is not a typo.

That's great to see! Hopefully they'll keep up their marketing efforts or whatever is working to draw larger crowds!

Funny. We went last night for the 1st time. And the lady in the ticket booth was making a big deal about how packed it was. The stadium was maybe 3/4 full.

To be honest, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The 15 minute break between periods felt a lot longer than usual. When the announcer is giving the weather forecast you know it's going to be a long night. It was boring.

But it was interesting to go once. I don't think I would go much more than once a season.

Greenville had some of the slowest moving hockey players I've ever seen.

Glad to see you're not being a negative nancy or anything. if you thought that game was boring then I don't know what to tell you. The breaks between periods are required. Greenville is one of the better teams in the ECHL also so no they're not slow: ECHL

I try to like hockey, but two 15 minutes breaks is too much for me to handle.

Hockey is my favorite sport to watch. The stadium just does a terrible job of entertaining the crowd. Even for only 15 minutes.

I've been to one. Was definitely different. I'm an avid football fan. It would take some time to get used to for me, but I'm glad to have them here.

My sixth-grader's buddy plays youth hockey so the two of them LOVE going to Road Warriors games. He always comes home with a t-shirt or a bobblehead or some other giveaway so clearly there's a lot going on besides the actual match to make it fun. The players are extremely accessible to the kids -- I realize this is a small-league team but that doesn't at all diminish the boys' excitement at having talked with a pro player.
