Funny. We went last night for the 1st time. And the lady in the ticket booth was making a big deal about how packed it was. The stadium was maybe 3/4 full.
To be honest, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The 15 minute break between periods felt a lot longer than usual. When the announcer is giving the weather forecast you know it's going to be a long night. It was boring.
But it was interesting to go once. I don't think I would go much more than once a season.
Greenville had some of the slowest moving hockey players I've ever seen.

Glad to see you're not being a negative nancy or anything. if you thought that game was boring then I don't know what to tell you. The breaks between periods are required. Greenville is one of the better teams in the ECHL also so no they're not slow: ECHL
My sixth-grader's buddy plays youth hockey so the two of them LOVE going to Road Warriors games. He always comes home with a t-shirt or a bobblehead or some other giveaway so clearly there's a lot going on besides the actual match to make it fun. The players are extremely accessible to the kids -- I realize this is a small-league team but that doesn't at all diminish the boys' excitement at having talked with a pro player.
