They seem to be the cheapest around. I try to go there every time I fill up.

LOVING the lower gas prices for my every day finances, but.... Don't you just KNOW that right after I decided to try to capitalize on the rise in oil & gold by investing a good chunk of my 401k in a "hard assets" fund, prices started falling...

All indicators were last year, that prices were on an upward trajectory with no end in sight. Wow, what a difference a few months makes! I'm still bullish on oil as an investment, as ultimately there's only a finite amount of it available/discoverable.

Wonder what the lowest area price for 100% gas (no ethanol blend) is?? Is there a website or app that tracks that?

I found that most non-ethanol gas is about 20 cents a gallon more expensive, but well worth it. That is all I put into our two cars.

Hehe, I'm thrilled to see my optimism pay off, $2.99 also at Quik Trip on Wade Hampton & Rushmore (next to K-mart). There should be an emoticon for the "happy dance", that's the one I would put here!

Didn't get to use my fuel perks before I lost 5 cents yesterday. Hubby beat me to it even though he knew my plans so I guess I will wait to use them.

Barrel cost is plummeting and hopefully this will bring more relief at the pump soon!

Interested on your take and others here.... why you'd buy zero ethanol on a newer vehicle that's a daily driver?

Just curious how folks justify the additional cost and what the advantages are?

Better gas mileage is only the beginning. Ethanol kills engines and shouldn't be used in small engines like lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
