Does anyone have the low down on when and where all the Farmer's Markets are in the area? I'd really like to check them all out.

I'm hoping they mostly all have organic produce at reasonable prices.

I'm told there is one from 10-2 on Tuesdays outside of Whole Foods.

There is also one I'm told on Pelham road on Thursdays I think at some church but not sure which one or where it is and what the times are.

Then there is one in Travelers Rest but don't know where or when that is and there is another one on North Rutherford on specific days and times I'm not sure of.

Then there is the one downtown on Saturdays I still haven 't checked out and am not exactly sure where downtown it is.

Are there any others anywhere else?

Is there anything worth driving up to Hendersonville or beyond for as far as farmer's markets go?

Also what about road side stands, are there any good ones worth checking out with ORGANIC veggies and fruit at good prices?

Are there any posters that know about any farmers with half shares of CSAs left -- again at reasonable prices.

Thanks in advance.

Wow! Is it open every day? (I guess I could call them and find out.) Is it mostly organic?

Thanks, I know but where on Main St? Main St is a long street. What is the cross street or some landmark? What is it near?

Has anyone been to the one in Fountain Inn? Also, which ones are over priced and not organic or are really mostly crafts and junk food? I want to avoid those.

The TD Saturday Market is located on Greenville's Main Street, between Washington Street and Court Square (Court Street/Westin Poinsett/Bellacino's/Liberty clock).

The Asheville Farmers market is not organic. Much of it is local, but not organic. Some of it is not even local, meaning they buy it from a produce truck that brings it in, and resell it.

It's big,but not worth the drive IMHO. We lived there when we went. You'll find much better local organic stuff here at the Greenville downtown market.
