Hopefully this will improve service. Meanwhile I am awaiting an update on the previously planned Popeyes for Greer.

Has anyone noticed IHOP #3452 closing early without notice or closing permanently? It closes at 2300 hours on Mondays. It was closed at 2130 hours last night with no vehicles in the parking lot and no one inside.

I would not be too terribly surprised if it closed down, I was elated when it first opened, so close by. We gave it fair opportunity, but it became readily apparent that things were not going to improve. Service was abysmal and product quality was well below par from day one. We often drive right past this location, en route to the one near BJU.

IHOP's parent company, DineEquity, announced months ago it was closing approximately 160 Applebee's and IHOP restaurant locations. I wonder if IHOP #3452 is an affected restaurant location.

Didn't this IHOP in Greer just open rather recently? Surprised it is not doing well. The location on Woodruff Rd. seems well managed and does a good business. I have always enjoyed good family diner type restaurants such as IHOP, Denny's, and of course Shoney's or Big Boy. The recently revitalized Frisch's Big Boy brand in Kentucky and Ohio is doing well. But this sector currently seems to struggle a bit. Although the Denny's on Wade Hampton near Taylors has recently renovated, and you would think they would add additional Upstate locations.
