Twin Bridge Nursery did not interest me for some reason, but it is great to check it out.[/quote]
And, it was very expensive to me. The plants didn't look that great either.
Does anyone know about ********************** Retail Mulch at Wholesale Prices - Home Apparently they have shrubs and plants. My husband picked up mulch there the other day. They had the best prices around for mulch. He didn't have time to check out the plants. He said they were very friendly as well.
Well we went to Martin Nursery today and it was just what I was looking for; it is a smaller version of the place I went to in Raleigh. I got some interesting, different plants for my hanging baskets and a few for the flower beds. My son enjoyed it too!
The good thing about the backyard nurseries is they usually grow their own plants. Many "nurseries" buy plants from the same suppliers as the big box stores. They also often sell at good prices.
He has all kinds and his inventory grows each year. A lot of his stuff is on CL, just look up Pelzer under plants and you will find a slew of them. Personally I find , ost of my plants on the markdown rack at Lowes and in some of the nurseries in Hendersonville, along with the Ace Hardware up there. There's also a woman in Greer that has great prices on blueberry, figs, and other plants as well if your interested.

Oh, and cant forget about daylily places too!!!
It looks like they also do mail order. Their retail location is convenient to my route home. I'll probably stop over there tomorrow - they have some oak leaf hydrangeas I'm looking for at a good price.
