How about a Food Lion at the Berea shops with the same stuff in it with the same stores also Popeyes would do great here Greenville and Easely
I am not sure if Food Lion will continue to expand in Greenville County after previous failures. But that remains to be seen. Although they do have a stronger presence in neighboring Carolinas markets, and they may look to upgrade after the Ahold merger with Delhaize. And implementing strategies from one of the Giant divisions would be a step in the right direction.

I do not know if Food City plans to enter South Carolina. It entered Georgia through the acquisition of BI-LO stores. Food City should focus on increasing store count in Georgia before expanding into North Carolina and South Carolina.
Albertson's has not done well in the southeastern United States. It pulled out of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and converted its three remaining Florida stores to Safeway. I do not know if either Albertson's or Safeway considered expanding into Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
