It has a gazillion things to drink, on both sides of the store. I got gas for $2.91, cheaper than most nearby stations...

QuikTrip's opening and consistently low fuel prices will cause competitors to change their prices.

I can tell you my only experience with "another" new gas station in the area, Hickory Point, I had 2 bad experiences with them. Two days after they opened, they could not accept debit cards, so I had to drive on..

Then, one day, I finally got gas there and low and behold, they charged my debit card $1 for the gas useage.

Never again.

Gas stations place a hold on debit and credit cards before debiting the full amount from your account. Hickory Point and Palms follow this practice.

Yes, that is common. The $1.00 amount will come off once the full amount is debited. Nothing to be alarmed about.

yes, and at least these stations do not charge more for paying with debit cards, I avoid stations with two prices at all costs.

When stations have two prices, debit cards are charged the same as cash. Credit gets the higher price. Just be sure to enter your pin number and you'll have no issue.

This is USUALLY true but not always. Had a gas station in Seneca with two prices displayed. Swiping your card, choosing debit, and entering a PIN displayed the CREDIT price. I've also seen a few stations (i.e. Dodge's in Easley) that are not set-up for debit cards so you get charged the credit price on your debit card.

Don't get me started on Dodges in Easley, thank goodness they have some competition now! They had debit inside and out, then just debit inside then credit only, now its back to debit inside and credit outside but you can't use your debit card to pay for gas inside! And their pumps are slower than ANY gas station I have ever been at!

Their employees are always friendly and because I used to go in their all the time they knew me well but I had to stop going there because I am always in a hurry and it just takes too long there
