Phases four and six with Sam's Club site grading in the background:
Tractor Supply Company:
Academy Sports:
Longhorn Steakhouse:
Marshall's:
Petsmart, Sally's Beauty Supply, and VIP Nails:
That is a lot going on in Easley! They are really coming up from being the boodunk little town I remember when I was there about twice a week...and that was only 3-4 years ago! I bet traffic's gonna get worse through there now though.
Oh, and is Academy Sports still planning on opening where Books a Million used to be in Anderson? I am so tired of seeing the spots for Circuit City and Books a Million sitting empty side by side (still, a lot of other areas outside of Clemson Blvd look much worse).
I also wouldn't mind if they said there was a Marshall's coming here either...or a Steak n Shake...
I heard from Petsmart (another location) that the new store is going to be much smaller in Easley...
I am thinking the huge Petsmart's are thinking about energy costs...or maybe other reasons to make the new stores smaller.....
Either way, gotta love it
I don't think it's a bad idea. Many stores are opening smaller stores in smaller markets. This helps them establish a connection with residents that they couldn't reach before and helps create a brand identity. Easley has a lot going for it. Wonder when it will become completely connected to Greenville from the West like all the suburbs from the East.

I think it's a great idea too. Smaller feels more "home town" and alot of those huge mega stores seem to have a hard time filling their shelves, due to large spaces and lower inventory....
Petsmart is opening the smaller type stores across the upstate - one just opened in Seneca and the new ones in Easley and Greenwood will be close behind.
Where exactly is that going up compared to the other markets, is it Walmart, PS, Kohls, TSC, Then Sam's Club?
