I will have to try the O-Rings. I usually get the Original Pita Burger (fav) or Greek Salad. I have heard the Fish and Chips platter is good too.

The freestanding Charlotte area ones seem to have a little more extensive menu. My little nephew always gets a milkshake there when I visit and says they are really good.

Showmars has numerous freestanding locations in the Charlotte area. They are a great regional fast casual restaurant and the food quality is better than the typical fast food. I thought at one time they had plans for additional freestanding locations in Greenville; hopefully this may eventually happen. I particularly enjoy their Pita burgers with the Greek style sauce.

And speaking of regional fast food, I would also like to see Rush's expand from Columbia. I always try to stop there when I pass through the Midlands. Wish they would come to the Upstate.

Lidl has owned one of those lots for several years now. Are they finally going ahead with it after halting new store development ?

Don't know what happened to the Spinx that was going there several years ago. The front lot next to Poinsett was supposed to be Spinx I believe.

That area needs some more restaurant choices not grocery stores and banks. A Starbucks would be nice. The drive thru at McDonalds next to Publix at Furman stays ridiculously backed up all the time now and its going to get worse with all the new subdivisions going in the Furman area.

Legend's Sports Bar & Grill is going into the space that most recently housed a buffet restaurant on Halton Road at Congaree, behind Rafferty's.
