Wow! I just read this thread. I am praying for her too - even though it now seems she is doing much better. It doesn't hurt to keep on praying. I also believe 100% that prayer works and that God is still in the "healing business"!!! Here's to your sister's continued healing and perfect health!

Thank you so much for the continued updates. It appears many folks on the forum have continued praying for Christal. God works in mysterious ways but there is no doubt in my mind that prayer matters.

I must ask, what is prayer suppose to do for your friend? If you're a religious person which by the sounds of you are, then what happened to her was not god's will?

Why did you think this was the appropriate place to make this sort of comment?

I know, right? This is not the proper place to challenge a person to a theological debate. Their is a forum for that. Now leave this forum alone, please.

I agree with the above two posters. When you start a thread on C-D, you're opening yourself up to varying opinions -- but this thread is an exception.

I'm just trying to understand the mind of a religious person such as the TS. He/she states that they believe in the power of collective prayer. Therefore they believe in a god or higher power. Now if they believe in god then they must believe everything that happens is god's will. Now if this was god's will why pray to reverse his actions?

Still not a question to be asked in this particular forum. This forum is for people with grief and trying to heal. NOT to be questioned like you did. Go to the proper forum or just leave it alone.
