Feel better soon Jaxson! Foot surgery is tough so take it easy! I have had several and it is very important to let yourself heal thoroughly--I didn't and am paying for it. No weight lifting--girl you just relax!

I spent the entire night worrying about that storm door and my neighbor came over and fixed it in just a few minutes. He said it needed adjusting but it is getting worn out but he saved me the money of buying a new closer anyhow for now. So nice. I think I must look for things--dumb things to worry over--get anxious over--and I can't figure out why!?! Seems like I look for problems......sigh.....

Where you like this before hubby got sick? Maybe you have become "addicted" to having problems to worry over. Maybe you feel you have nothing else left except to cause "problems" for yourself? Maybe it's like going through the DT's. You were at it so long with hubby and then proof, he's gone. No more need for cyn! That's like taking a junkie's dope away in one moment.

Not trying to be mean, cyn. Just commenting back on whatcha said.

Sorry to hear about the foot, Jax!

You probably are right in one sense elston--I did discuss this with my therapist and she told me since I no longer have all the things I had to do for my DH it left me in an empty space---and as you said--looking for problems. It is something I constantly remind myself I do not need...and the problems are silly really! I need to turn it all over to God and concentrate on what I have done good! I've spent a very long time feeling inadequate when in fact I am very adequate! I just have to remind myself! Smile!

Not sure why but I thought that post regarding the worry issues was from elston---guess since he was the last post--anyhow yes elston, it is being discussed with my therapist. And Tami it is from having everything to worry about to having a much less amount of things to be concerned over. All normal and will pass with time I have been assured. Each time I get myself worked up over something very silly I remind myself I am not in control and to turn it over to God.

I knew you were confused.....didnt think I had said what you were crediting me with. My only input was to encourage you to work on it with your therapist....and it sounds as if you are doing that and making progress. Have a good day.

How stupid of me to forget doing most everything by yourself, cyn! I did the opposite, I didn't worry about anything and was a walking zombie for 2+ years.

Morning Cyn and friends.

Feel better Jaxon!

Cyn, you keep saying turning things to God. Does it help? I am asking because I feel like I could use for Gods help.
