Yes Dude--I did get the lawn mowed. Thank you for asking! While I was mowing my neighbor came over and did the trimming--so kind and I really appreciated it. Just adding that trimming and it makes the yard look "finished". It was almost dark when I finally got done and I was so tired. Today I will pay as my arm is pretty tender. With the work the Chiropractor did on it yesterday and then mowing and today is stocking at work. My boss called and they really need me to work a few extra nights with the one girl out so I told him I would but that he has to understand my arm is trying to heal so he said he'd keep me on the register and only stock treats and light weight things. My problem is for some reason My brain gets tired at night and working nights is difficult. But I need the money to pay my Chiropractor too so I'll just do what I can. I suppose it just going to take some time working nights to get back my momentum. I hope anyhow! Time to take my dogs for their morning walk and then off to work....Have a blessed day!

cyn,

Great, thanks to the neighbor giving help on the lawn.

I hope Medicare helps with the Chiropractor.. I don't have any experience other than knowing it helps with physical therapy that my wife had during her battle with cancer.. but the therapy was under prescription from her Oncologist, don't know if that was required to get Medicare benefit.

Sounds like you "boss" is very happy with your work, you are a valued employee.

Your busy schedule makes me tired just reading. My only outside the home work is volunteer and much less often than your work schedule.

Jerry, not quite old enough to get my medicare so I have private insurance and they cover all but the co-pay which sadly still mounts up fast! I think you just don't realize how much you do Jerry--you are really a pretty busy guy! And the best part is your working with those dogs! They need you! Thank you from me for them!

Cyn, maybe you get let part of your yard go natural next year? You could just start a "wildlife sanctuary" in most of it and just mow around the house.
When we had a large property, it seemed to be almost a full time job to beat back nature. I am so glad we have a regular little yard now.

I had considered that gentlearts but still the fleas and ticks would love that too.
Yesterday was a not a good day at work. I am sore and tired! Please keep positive thoughts for me at work these next 2 nights! I will be happy when this week is over!

cyn,

Sounds like work has turned into "too much of a good thing". Sounds like the boss is someone who will try to accommodate your limitations... with the approach of Christmas the store will get more business... best thing may be to ask the boss to consider more part-time help for the busy season as he may think first to just offer you more hours.

It's not so much my boss it's one other girl that works there and is a "key-holder", meaning she is a manager when the boss isn't there. My boss told me he is hiring another person to help. I know the Christmas season is going to get crazy so I just want my normal hours back. I can do the one night every other week but several nights in a row is hard for me when I wake up at 4am. I have really tried to work on staying up later but for some reason I still wake up at 4am. It will be okay---

I'm off to work now....animals are a little confused as to why they got fed this early but they will survive! Tomorrow will be the same thing again! For me that is one of the most difficult things--changing up their routine. But at least they have food and water and a warm place to sleep! Have a blessed day everyone!

Good luck if that helps, at least your animals have food and a home, they will be fine... take care of yourself, for you and your animals. Hope you have a good night rest, wishing the same for myself.
