Yep--that's the one and it is charming plus the people that own and work there are wonderful! The food is amazing too--always a plus! Only problem is it is winding mountain roads along Badin lake so the deer are everywhere....a slow drive for sure! It is fairly close to my house so that is a good thing! Only about 7 miles away!

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was difficult for me--very sad...even at work but of course I didn't let it show. I think I was worried about Whitey plus the holiday blues. Whitey appears to be feeling better today. I have a lot to get done so maybe being busy will keep my mind off those sad things. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

The "coping? session was okay, the main positive outcome was the people met there.

Was at shelter today, just spend an hour +, not an all day thing. Tomorrow will be more time consuming as I will take one of my "remote" foster pups, Lola, to Princeton for the monthly adoption show. I pray she can win a loving home, best an older person, but know I'll miss her if/when she does.

I love that you do this.

Happy you stop by to check in Dude. And I agree with elston, Jerry--I also love your work with the foster dogs.
Had a very nice dinner with my girlfriend for her Birthday last night. She had 2 other friends that joined us and it was nice. The food was very good too.
It's drizzly but unusually warm for this time of year here--going into the 70's today so I'm not going to complain. Work today. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Stayed up until 9pm and woke up at 3am. Not sure why but I'm really tired and today is a full day at church. Wish me luck!
Maybe the warm weather is the problem?
Have a blessed day everyone!
