I know I appreciate those in the medical field--it is a hard job! I have several friends in the medical field and they work very hard and are very caring!
I had better sleep well tonight--I just finished weeding my front rose garden and there was a lot of weeds! Now I am beyond tired and need a good shower to get the pollen, sweat and dirt off...then time to relax. Tomorrow night is work with me going back to work again on Thursday morning for stocking--those are my hardest days!
Good night everyone..............
Another lovely day here with rain on the way! But we are behind so we need it to keep this pollen down!
I slept okay--up a few times....had Whitey on my mind. He is such fighter! And "405", my other old kitty needs to get another antibiotic shot as I noticed her coughing again. When they get old it's never ending it seems.
I was awake at 4am and could not go back to sleep. Must be the changes in the weather or just to much on my mind! Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Very tired this morning. My Whitey kitty is not doing well but I have to work today so maybe when I get off I will take him in to see the vet. Maybe he will perk up during the day--I pray and I will have a little more time with him. Hope everyone has a lovely day!
I feel so badly for Whitey....it seems his trips to the vet are getting more and more frequent. Is it a matter of his age? Are the vet visits.....prolonging his process of dying and does he have quality of life to make it worthwhile to him? I know you love him and are committed to his care.....and will consider all options. Blessings on you and him. I am hoping for the best.
Me, too, cynwldkat. Oh, it just brings back memories of our departed cat, Tabitha, and the two Pomeranians we've lost, Abby and Rocky. They were absolute dolls and it tore me apart each time I had to bury one of them. And the vet trips did get closer and closer together - a lot like us when we get older, huh?
Having commiserated with all of that, everyone perk up and have a piece of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting on it, if you have ready access to it, that is! Not that I adore sweets or anything...like that.
I always consider my animals feelings before my own--of course I want them to live forever but not for me--for them in a good healthy state. Of course we all know Whitey is not in good health but the vet said he is not doing that badly and not in pain.....but we have to stay on top of it. It's just this last week I have noticed he is not feeling as well so I want to love on him as much as I can now. Yes, each of my animals takes a piece of my heart when it passes--have to wonder how much I have left! I hurt terribly before, during and after the losses. But it is life.....I just am way to sensitive. It takes so much out of me just to write this...sigh...hope I find more strength in my life....
Very nice--thanks elston! I think I needed that!
Just got back from the vets and found out why Whitey had a swollen place by his eye--I thought it was the cancer or his body just breaking down--that's my negative thinking at work again...sigh...but it is an abscessed tooth--not a good thing but with more antibiotics maybe it will get better or best thing it will fall out or buy more time. We can't put him under to have it removed because of his condition....one more thing. But he is doing okay other then that and I make close to enough money from feeding the neighbors birds 3 days a week to cover the cost at the vet---unless more is needed or another cat has to go to the vets. For now it is okay. Somehow, with some very nasty storms in the area the clouds parted and the sun was shining for my entire trip out to the vet---Guess God was watching over us! He is good! Have a blessed day!
