Thanks elston!
Ah hey Dude, you're the "Awesome Dude"--never forget that. You spread so much love and care on this thread not sure what we'd do without you. I guess "sad" is a part of life--ugh! But we have each other so hang on my friend!
Sorry I didn't post yesterday...I was pretty down. I went to the "Y" and the girl who was going to help me with exercising my rotater cuffs thinks I need to get an MRI because she said the left one seems pretty bad and probably needs surgery. Besides money that would mean more time off of work and I drive a standard transmission---so don't think I'll be getting that done any time soon. Just made me feel sorry for myself, that good old "pity-potty" and I am really fighting that. So she said keep going in the warm water pool and that will do some help. That's what I will do. Maybe next year I'll consider the surgery.....I even missed my therapy group last night--probably really should have gone but will return next week.
Work today..hope everyone has a blessed day!
I used to lift weights about 15 years ago, until my shoulder sounded like I had sand inside the ball and socket area. It wasn't painful, just sounded horrible. I stopped lifting and it no longer makes that noise.
Hope you get to feeling better, Dude111. A drive in the country always makes me feel better. Or taking my dogs for a walk.
We had an electritian come to check out our home....all systems......unfortuanately or fortunately....he found that the breaker box was dangerous and not up to code..(he said this type of box is no longer legal)..and the wires from the surge protector ..... were burned.....so we are getting by tonight....not using appliances that create heat (the biggest drain)....and he's coming tomorrow to replace it. No electricity all day......
It is a BIG unexpected expense......but glad he found it.
I guess it is that time of year for our money to go into repairs etc. I'm just happy you had the foresight to have it checked out elston. Could have been very dangerous. One day without power---well worth it to have you safe!
Dude, chin up my friend--I do know how you feel.
Found out my only option fro paying this medical bill is to do it in 4 payments or put it on a credit card. Looks like I'll be doing it in 4 payments and using some of my savings. Hate doing that but I am not putting anything more on those credit cards right now. As far as more surgery--well I'll see what a doctor says before I get to worked up. The left arm is very painful but maybe they have other methods to help it besides surgery. I hope so....
Am having lunch with my older gentleman friend today. Then perhaps a trip to the "Y" for a little swimming in the warm pool!
Have a blessed day!
