I just found out today I am back to my original schedule--3 days a week--all day hours. At first I was surprised since it wasn't mentioned but everyone else also had changes and my boss knew I was never happy about working on Sundays. I'm a little concerned about money but it will work out. My boss knew I really only wanted to work a few days and daytime hours. Guess I got what I asked for. I can always go in early and stay late for a little extra! One of the girls that left is back and she needs the hours so that works out good. She is very nice and I like her. At first I thought my boss was upset with me for something but he only did what I have been asking for so that is silly worried thinking on my part! But it is what I do well! HA!
If you need more hours......it wouldnt hurt to let him know. I think he was trying to accomodate you. Also if you let your co workers know that you would cover for them...........I bet that will come up from time to time.
Cool beans, cynwldkat. That's great! Sounds like your boss really likes you. And all of us on here can certainly understand why. You're a great person. Peace and good will to all of you all this Saturday night!
I like the new days and hours but the timing was not the best with my medical bills--but I'll make it work!
Church today.
This time change is very hard for me...I had a hard time sleeping and when I did I had bad dreams. Hope tonight is better.
Have a blessed day everyone!
Well of course I was up by 4 AM according to the new time..............I used to get up at 5 Am..........and being a creature of habit......it will take a few days.
Re: Day Light Savings Time Change
I saw something attributed to an Indian wise person that seemed appropriate. "Only the government thinks that you can cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it on the bottom of the same blanket......and get a longer blanket"
