One more day for 2016! Imagine that!!
I did go to my friends house for dinner. She has a lovely home right on the lake! Her DH passed away a year ago and the same for my other friend that was there--the one I met at Hospice. They seem to be so much farther ahead of me yet as we talked they both have either family or friends around and the circumstances of their DH's passing was much different then my own. There is no easy way to lose a loved one but each situation has it's own degree of struggles. All in all it was a nice dinner and I enjoyed the company! I saw a few deer as we left her home. I always love that as long as they aren't near the road.
I have work today and am still dragging with these new meds....although I don't think I am as anxious.
Have a blessed day everyone!
Up really early in the morning because my sleep schedule is so night shift-ish. I have 3 days left ta study for my big Exam on Wednesday. A girl I work with also takes the Exam that day at the same place. We are both very nervous. I am accepting prayers - sorry ta sound like such a worry-wart about this. I have been studying so long for it - my wife is grading my practice tests for me as I study.
Hope you're all doing well - we're now in 2017. Sounds so weird, doesn't it? Talk ta y'all later - enjoy your Sunday's! Watched my U of Washington Huskies really get beat up by the Crimson Tide 24-7 on Saturday in the Peach Bowl at Atlanta. Ouch. Proud of them anyway - my favorite college football team as I'm from Seattle. The Seahawk's play the 49ers in San Francisco this afternoon, our meeting is now at 4:00PM, right during the game, so I'll tape it for afterwards.
Everyone enjoy your Sunday's - hope your babies are all doing well, cyn. Hi Dude, elston and all of y'all!
Happy New Year everyone! 1917..wow!
Elko, prayers are being said and you are going to do just fine. As hard as you are working I have no doubt!
Restless sleep with a lot of shooting going on--happy my dogs are now in the house! Still bothers Bella but nothing like when she was outside.
Rain today--took our 5:30am walk in the rain---at least it is warmer today.
Church in a bit so time to get some things doen around here before I go.
Have a blessed day!
2017 cyn I notice that you are occassionally lapsing back to 19 as in 1917.........we have to transition into the right century!!! 2017
Quaker Meeting this morning.....I missed last Sunday.....it will be good to be back. Today is our pot luck dinner "at the rise of meeting". I made and froze an extra toutiere (meat pie) and have baked it this morning to take for the pot luck. Tourtiere are traditional French Canadian food for Christmas.....we had one while my son and gd were visiting.....delicous if I do say so myself.
Good Luck Elko on your examination.
Happy New Year Dude and everyone who stops in here.
