Cy, when you are mowing the lawn, does bubu run behind you? You sure have a big yard.

I would love to just let BuBu run around but he has no sense as far as staying home--he is a hound and any given moment he may take off! My main yard is not fenced in just his area which is really a nice size--about 1/8th acre I'd guess. So for his own safety he stays inside his yard unless we take walks and then he is on a leash. My back and legs have a rash from my mower that I decided to call a lawn mower repair guy this morning to fix my mower cause I sure can't let it go this way. Something is bound to break on it (or me) with the way it is bouncing around! Dread seeing the repair bill but it will be less then a new mower. He can't come until next week. I'd ask my neighbors but they have their own things they have to do so I hate always asking. This guy gave us a good deal when he worked on our generator so fingers crossed he will again!

LOL a hound dawg will follow his nose and may end up in the next county.....cant let them run. Sounds as if BuBu has a good yard to hang out in ..... my beagle girl does like to go out in the fenced in back yard...but she doesn't play or anything...she has dug a couple of dust wallows...and she goes out and sleeps.

Ha! Yep, that's my boy--all hound and nose----with those flaps a-goin' about a million miles and hour. He forgets everything and everyone around him when he is on the go.....been there and done that! I just feel badly because he loves kids so much..maybe I can get the neighborhood kids to come over and play with him when they grow a bit bigger. Right now they are still to young I fear...

Ha---you don't know STUBBORN until you meet BuBu. The two of them, Allie and BuBu would make a pair!

Though she's no dog, I think you don't know stubborn until you have met my daughter!

Cyn, please don't think I forgot you. We were on vacation last week, and I was sick the week before that. Things have been busy since we came back last Sunday and I haven't been able to write in your thread before tonight.
I hope all is well with you.
Big hugs.
