Airing grievances against deceased

I completely agree with you. And I think it's a chicken **** thing to do as well. I've always thought "If you had an issue with so and so, you should've taken it up with them when they were alive. Not when they can't defend themselves."


I also feel the same about movies that trash someone who's died. Like the movie "Mommy Dearest".

That's very similar to what I went through. Hard to get support when so many people held grudges against my mother. They should have talked to a counselor about these issues - or anyone else, really - instead of unloading them onto me.

I feel your experience was a little worse than mine, PV, your aunts blindsided you whereas I unintentionally did it to myself by calling these "friends ".

I am sorry for what they did to you.
