Isn't it amazing that this thread is even possible?
So many things could go so wrong so quickly here.
Oughta be deleted.
Anything is possible. Doesn't make it right. I don't think that adults should be giving a known minor information that isn't theirs in person (certain circumstances do apply) much less internet.

OMG The thought of an adult telling a minor what age he has to be to get a firearm. WOW. while I do agree he needs to talk with his parents. BUT no one has told him sure just run down and buy one.
MAYBE moms and pops didn't know the answer either and if they aren't computer savey, he MIGHT have been asking for them as well.
The laws will be the same no matter who gives him the facts.
That is irrelevant. It is the responsibility of the child's parents to speak with him/her about such things IF they choose to. A parent may not want to discuss this with their child (for many different reasons).....none the less it is their decision to do so. Child=minor.....

If child's parents doesn't want to talk about it or is afraid to talk about it, Somebody needs to talk about it. Or it will be talk about in the school yard.

That is not the place of someone on the internet to decide. The parents are the authority over that child and what happens in his/her life. Whether or not it is dicussed in the home or not, it will be discussed elsewhere. But it is not up to any adult to discuss these types of matters with a child, to do so is irresponsible.

You know, your acting like someone is talking to kids about sex. It's not sex it's guns.
If I can talk to a young person about guns and gun safety I am happy to do it. More so gun safety than anything else. If he or she can learn something from me that could save a life I'm happy to do it.

But you are doing exactly that, you are making a decision....AND I still have not seen you post anything against the other posts that gave information....the only one you have complained about are the people who have done nothing....
