You have to remember 85 was worth about 500 adjusted for inflation. So you have broke even. LOL

I bought an Yugo SKS four years ago for $140, put a new stock on it with a scope and some new parts and sold it for about $250 a couple of years ago. I'm guessing the price has risen significantly since last week

I purchased my Glock 19 2nd Generation for 450.00 used at a gun show three years ago.

I paid more because of condition and the fact that the 2nd generation Glock 19's have a stellar reputation amongst Glock owners for almost stellar reliability.

Not once in approx 3000 rounds placed through it since has it ever jammed or malfunctioned in any way.

I ask this for an analysis and how much the Federal Govt will have to reimburse owners if there is a buy out program. So far it ranges from 65 billion to over 90 billion depending on averages.
I have , roughly, 1200 bucks into my 1911 including purchase price. Two more of the same( a Daly and a Para) I have anotber grand into. My 935 12 ga cost me 350. My AR cost me a days work witb my backhoe and use of my plumbing skills. My AK set me back 450. None of them are for sale

It is nobody's business what I paid for whatever I may have, unless I decide to tell them. And anyone thinking they can forcibly trade me worthless FRN's for anything is going to be on the losing end of a very bad deal. I never did buy a gun for the purpose of making a profit on it, any more than I bought a chainsaw with that idea. They are not toys, they are tools, and I don't sell tools, I use them. None of them are for sale. As a favorite role model of mine once said,"I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” I guess you could say buying mine might cost more than some would be willing to spend......
