You couldbuy grass fed meats, at the Heritage store on Laskin down at Va Beach. It is a great store for organic and grass fed, holistic all natural produce. Is alittle pricey, but worth checking out.

Default Grass Fed Beef

I run Holly Grove Farm and we supply grass-fed beef and Cow Shares for Raw Milk to the greater Hampton Roads area of south east Virginia. www.hollygrovefarm.com hollygrovefarm@gmail.com :-) David Crane

I'm not picky about antibiotics- we don't eat much meat and prefer to pay a little more and buy animals who have been raised in a better environment. Thanks for the advice

Default grass feed meet

Hi, Whole Foods is the best place. I don't know if there will be one near there, but it would be worth the drive to find one. Check out WholeFoods.com.

I would love to check them out-once my car is back on road. I'm starting the Jorge Cruise "Belly Fat Cure" & he recommends grass-fed meats. Do you know if anyone carpools from the Norfolk area? How are their prices? I'm also going to check Trader Joe's in the Hilltop area of VB. Anyone have info on this subject @ the Norfolk Farm Market? It's a 3hr bus ride round trip to Hilltop but I have travel coolers & 2 of those wheeled shopping baskets that hold alot & we use cloth shopping bags so not to rip plastic bags & lose any goodies. And, as an added perk for me, I enjoy Trader Joe's "house" wines-less than $5/bottle & really good!

If you live in Ghent-as your username suggests-there is the Norfolk Farm Market near downtown. Just not sure exactly where but you can Google them for more info.
