Think it be good idea for Hawaiian music artists to expand and pick up more support and more artists from the state of Alaska? Several new radio stations can pop up within Alaska. Do you think this is good idea combining the music artists with music studios featuring Hawaiian and Alaskan music?

Having lived on the mainland, Alaska, and Hawaii, I do not understand your question. Alaska musicians are not much different than, say, musicians on the west coast of the mainland. If you are referring to native Alaskan and Hawaiian music, I think there are more differences between the two than similarities.

I was going to say the same thing but was unsure if it was just me who didn't understand. I'm originally from AK and didn't know if you meant grouping them simply because they're 'outlier' states, or did you mean Native music/chants. Our chants in HI are somewhat different than our chants in Alaska. I did my graduate linguistics work at UAF and can attest to differences between the two. Plus, we speak numerous languages in Alaska, where in Hawai'i it is just (natively) 'Olelo Hawai'i.

From the 'radio' comment, it seems you mean more modern bands, though.

Unsure of the question..?
