It's in lower Puna, down the Red Road from Pahoa, near the ocean. Agree with Leilaniguy, pretty and remote.

If this is Sheyenne Solomon, as far as I can tell it's straightforward but fairly basic deal, and she's been doing it a while... 15 hours of work a week in exchange for a bed in a private tent-cabin, with a common area and kitchen shared with 3 or 4 others, and whatever food you can find from the garden. They generally want a two month commitment. You will need to bring cash for additional food, and everything else you might need.

And he means everything. More than likely you will need to provide your own soap, toilet paper, towels and sheets if you need them.

ok thanks. I'm going to try and get a farm on Oahu as I heard you could get a tourist type job, whatever that is ,or general labor job pretty easy. As my job background is in warehouses so general labor would be good for me. I will probably work two jobs and ride a bike for awhile.

Hmmm, not likely - not exactly a farming island.

It's understandable that the largest number of WWOOF hosts would be on the Big Island, since the largest number of farms in the state are on this island.

There are, however, farms on each of the other islands, and folks who have registered their farms with the WWOOF Hawai'i organization to host wwoofers: 170 on The Big Island, 51 on Maui, 25 on Oahu, 22 on Kauai and 13 on Molokai.

ok i got an application and turned it in, its on maui, its Kahua Hawaiian Institute in Haiku HI. it says about 20 minutes from Paia and Ho’okipa. im super hopeful that i get accepted into this place, its not on the island that i wanted but this place i think would be great for me. i figure when i get there i will just get a scooter/moped for transportation during my time off so i can go visit places. though it might be hard to put a surfboard on one but im hoping i get accepted. i will have to do a skype interview but im excited, does anyone know about this Paia and Ho’okipa, or that part of town.

I wouldn't be too worried about being "accepted". I simply cannot imagine that the WWOOF hosts are really that picky about their almost free labor they get.
