About 620,000 people died in the 1800's to reach the conclusion that once a state, always a state.

As a lifelong Oregonian, I have never heard, especially in the recent past, anything about seceding from the Union, with or with out California, or any other state. I may be wrong, but I don't think there is a lot of interest for seceding, as far as Oregonians are concerned. No clue about Washington, though. I've heard it mentioned regarding CA, though. I don't see it happening.

I loved the Reagan and Bush and Bush W years! I hope you are right, and that the Trump years will be even better! 8 great years on the horizon.

And no, I don't think Hawaii would/should join such a federation. Nothing to gain.

Welp, Gulf War was 1990-1991. So that's off the table for W.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War

9/11 was a national tragedy no matter who was in the White House, and I'm disappointed that you would stoop so low as to, by inference, blame in on GWB

I did fine during what you refer to as the Great Recession. But the Obama years have been not so good.

So, yeah. GWB.

Uh. There were 2 Gulf Wars - you know, that place in Iraq. In fact he did better than Gulf War I and sucked us into Afghanistan.

George W and his administration more likely than not could have prevented 9/11

And I don't know anyone not way better off now than 8 years ago.

Yep. W. A real winner.

I gave you the wiki link to clear up your confusion - when you say "Gulf War" you are referencing the military action in the early 90s. And as to whether or not GWB could have prevented 9/11 is just your opinion. And I know tons of people who are worse off today than 8 years ago.

So other than your opinions.......

Uh. No. I'm not confused. And I'm not referring to military actions in the 90s. Have you completely forgotten the entire invasion of Iraq after 9/11 - you know, the fake WMD thing. Jeez. How can anyone forget that and be so dismissive of it.
