I’m taking my 2 year old who will be 3 to Hawaii for his birthday. Any must dos for him while I’m there? Any tips on what island is best? Any suggestions at all would be great thank you.

I think a child that age is not going to remember much of that trip except maybe a long plane ride.

(of course his mother might remember having a good time )

But I would say Oahu would probably be the most toddler friendly.

Why? A 3 year old doesn't know Hawaii from down the road.

Anyway, all your other threads are asking about moving to low cost areas with a warehouse job??? And Hawaii?

Does it matter to you where I go on vacation? I’m going with friends since you seem so keen to know everything.
And yes I’m moving and right now my warehouse job pays enough to save enough to move to a new place to better our lives and have enough to live off for 6 months and to go to Hawaii with friends

Seems to me Hawaii isn’t good for a 3 year old regardless of island. So it really doesn’t matter.

Try to keep him occupied on the plane from destination to destination.

Keep him from screaming in a high pitched voice when his ears pop continually,

Instill in him the fact that people do not like their seats to be kicked when he becomes bored.

The trip is for you, not the child. But enjoy it anyhow.

I'd suggest taking the 2-yr old to your local Chucky Cheese restaurant instead. Unless of course the trip is really for you.

If the child has been dreaming of going to Hawaii for a long time and wants a treat for his/her Birthday, then I'd say Aulani on Oahu is the only place to go.

If you go to Hilo, there is a children's beach called Onekahakaha where it is safe for him to go in the water. There is also the Panaewa Rainforest Zoo a few miles up the highway. In Kona, he might like a trip in the glass bottom boats. Most of the hotels have pools, and kids usually like that.
