Yeah, bodysurfing will definitely clean out your sinuses. Generally you get a huge nose drain about the time you are ready to plow into a surf-pac from Zippy's afterwards.

The other saline rinse kit would be a neti pot from the health food store. Put in hot water and a bit of salt and you have instant saline rinse kit without having to spend a lot of money all the time.

Having a cold AND having vog at the same time is not good. Urgh! That's what I did yesterday, very uncomfortable. The rains have come to wash the vog away so now it is just the cold left. I guess that's an improvement!

The vog is back in Puna with a vengance today, the air is grey/brown, tastes and smells nasty. - Update: An hour later, wind picked up, presto chango, it's all good!

Schools were out today due to the fog in Puna. We were in volcano a couple a days ago and it was pretty bad. Smells like sulfur and when i woke up this morning the house smelled like spoiled eggs and we live in Keaau. So i am not so sure that its finished just yet.

It was a little hazy over in Kona yesterday but not bad. Wind blew pretty good all day long until early evening.
