I know this will probably be a moment when I see the answer... but...

I have been rolling through several threads here that use the "DH" in situations where I believe people are talking about a husband. However, the only thing that I can make it mean is "Divorced Husband"... The threads don't read like a divorce though. And if so many women are dragging a Divorced Husband around the Islands, then I will have many more questions... But again, I am going to assume that I am wrong & hope that someone can explain??? Tks...

"Darn Husband"
"Dratted Husband"
"Dingbat Husband"
but usually one of the top three

It means "darling husband" like if I was talking about my daughter I would say DD. It doesn't mean divorced since we are definaltly not divorced :P

I had a feeling I would need to slap da head! Those are all MUCH nicer ways to refer to DH!!! And it makes since to drag those guys along; probably more enjoyable than the exes...

Thanks to all you DP's (Darling Posters)

I wondered what that meant myself and hoped somebody would eventually ask that. All I could think of was Designated Hitter (in reference to baseball) which really lets my imagination fly as to what's going on in that household.

Darling Husband or Damn Husband (Dipsh*t works too sometimes), depending on mood. Sometimes the ambiguity is a nice thing...

Smile I asked the same question...

About 1 1/2 years ago, I had the same question but I would never say dear daughter or darling husband - I guess some shorten it. I just call him my husband.

There are some others I had to ask other too.
