I know there is a lot of tourism stuff, but what sort of cultural attractions (opera, symphony, etc) does HI have? Is there a market for private music instructors, piano lessons, etc?

YAY! There is no market for it where we are stationed right now. That makes me incredibly happy. :-)

I wouldn't think it was a huge market but I think parents will always wasnt piano lessons for the kids. you might want to look on line at the newspapers to see what you can see. look in the arts section that would give you a start. good luck

Ok. I wasn't looking for huge but I was looking for some market. I know the public education is bad, so I would lke to start a music school/center where kids can take lessons. Do you think there would be interest?

With somewhere around 1 million people on Oahu, I think there may be a few parents who want piano lessons for their children...
