It seems like you will only be looking at very small, private schools if you expect to find a school that teaches 1st through 12th grades all in the same school? I honestly don't know if such a school would even exist?
Do you know any decent rental places around this school?
You need to stop being so cryptic. No one can read your mind. If you list the name of the school you have found, as well as the area it is in, someone might be able to help you.
As to your original question, why are you not wanting your child to "switch schools" from 1st through 12th grade? What if YOU move during that time frame?
i see 3 private school #1 Punahou($17300/year) #2 Iolani($15600/year) #3Hanalani($8285/year) . I heard public school in Hawaii is unfit for education for the next decade. As to answer your question, switch schools in my experience is bad. What if I move i don't know if I want to.
Almost everybody switches schools during 12 years of education. Trying to avoid that is a pretty weird thing, and it severely limits school choices!!
