For the last week or so my heel area, especially my right heel, and knees hurt when I get up in the morning or standing after sitting for awhile. I look like an old lady when I get out of a car or standing after sitting with so much stiffness, and I am not old! Mind you I have to walk down two flight of stairs on hard wood to let my dogs out first thing. Going down the stairs is a killer where I have to step down like a little kid one step at a time. Anyone else have this happen to them? I have an appointment this week to try and get answers.
actually I think it is because I have mainly been wearing thongs most of the summer. Never, ever wear heels.
That definitely could be the problem.
Both the heel and knee could have taken a beating this summer.
No support and a lot of impact.
If you haven't stopped wearing them, i would do so now and see if the problem clears up.
Then if it doesn't, see a foot doc. or some professional that can help you out.

I'm sure you are right. Getting an injection will help speed up the healing process while taking away the inflammation.
so painful. even when up put my feet up for awhile, as soon as I put step on the floor..ouch!
