I had the flu pretty bad last week. I was pretty much out of commission Wednesday through Monday. Yesterday was the first day I felt better. During the bad days I ate some soup, a bit of ice cream and jello. I was probably having a few hundred calories per day max. Now that I am feeling better (still have some congestion but feel great) I have a very small appetite.
I'm very thin to start with so I hated to lose weight while being sick. Now, I really want to gain weight back but I was not hungry at all yesterday or today. I just ate a plain peanut butter sandwich for lunch and got stuffed halfway through. Is this normal coming off a sickness like this?
Starve the flu...feed a cold...I think so Mr_Geek....your stomach probably "shrunk" from eating so little for so long....you'll probably be able to eat more...gradually....just my thoughts....
