Does anyone take apple cider vinegar on a regular basis? If you do, have you noticed any health benefits?
ACV is supposed to be good for high glucose levels, high blood pressure and even weight loss, but I'm wondering if these claims are true or Old Folk remedies without any basis in truth.

What's been your personal experience?
WebMD (I think) has a pretty good article on ACV. I tried to drink a tsp with my water and nearly threw up. I hope it works out better for you.

apple cider vinager with mother is good for people with acid reflux. i have used it, it works
I believe in the health benefits of ACV and I always have it in stock in my kitchen, but I confess I don't take it as regularly as I should. It's just too tart and too sour for some people, but not me. I can actually drink it - 1 tablespoon at a time (2 Tbs dose is fine) straight, but more often I dilute it in water and I hardly taste it. That's just me. The best way I like to take it is to make a salad dressing using it with extra-virgin olive oil (which is also healthy).
Apple Cider Vinegar is very beneficial for people with diabetes. It helps lower the blood sugars. They say cinnamon is also good for diabetics, but to get any benefit out of it the diabetic would have to take it in highly concentrated pill form ... merely sprinkling some on food is of no value.
Have used organic apple cider vinegar with "the mother" and without going into details it was pretty much a life saver for me. Warm water with added vinegar, sip it like tea. Lots of benefits, health-wise.
To what are y'all reffering when you write you take apple cider vinegar with "the mother"?
Well, if you see a bottle of organic vinegar and it has in the bottom of the bottle a slimy(bacteria) looking material, brownish in color, gummy looking(yuk!), that's what's called "the mother". It's found in unpasteurized vinegar. In "normal" vinegar it's killed by pasteurization, but when left in, it has many health benifits!!
