Reuters explains that the doctors “also got it right more often for the more serious conditions and the more uncommon diagnoses, while computer algorithms were better at spotting less serious conditions and more common diagnoses.”
Well first off, it wasn’t a google search, it was a webMD search. Second, doctors were only better at more serious conditions, while less serious computers were better.
What Google does have on doctors is patience. For your doctor you might have 15 minuets if you are lucky. Many of us forget to write down all of the symptoms that we wanted to tell our doctor about and then we forget. With Google we write down what we think of when we remember to Google for an answer. Then, if we come up with another symptom or we remember something we forgot, we can do another search. There is no clock ticking with our meter running.
But only doctors can prescribe the medications and run necessary test. They are also trained to spot what we don't even look for.

I signed up with a new doctor and throughout the exam,I got 10mins, he yawned constantly , and was pretty rude and dismissive. I am signing up with a new one. First time in my life I’ve had to deal with such a horrible doctor.
And you do know that whatever algorithm referred to in the article isn't singular and isn't the same as Google's...har de har har. But keep saying "algorithm" if it makes you feel smarter.
Read the threads. My citation was from the link that was in the thread I quoted.
Cluster headaches don't happen just once....or even a single cluster. Didn't you know the typical frequency? And if you had THAT kind of pain you'd be running for the doctor to get relief...so I don't think you really had /have cluster headaches but keep tellin' yourself that.
Are you in high school, by any chance...on summer break?
I was lucky and my clusters were manageable on the pain scale and for whatever reason only came back once. I found out through research that magic mushrooms are the best treatment, but they are illegal (something a doctor wouldn’t tell me.) so I grew some mushrooms for treatment if they come back. Most doctors don’t even know what they are unless I go to a specialist.

First off a WebMD search should be BETTER than a google search since as has already been explained to you Google search results provide most popular results not necessarily most accurate
Secondly you misinterpreted the response regarding how much better the algorithms were at diagnosing common problems
Your entire premise behind your op is beyond flawed

Cluster headaches are NOT uncommon and any GP knows what they are how to diagnose and how to treat
Reading your comments regarding your “ mushroom “ treatment explains a LOT
No point in continuing any rational discussion here....

No it’s isnt. Google searches include web md and often have web md at the top of the results. And wrong again on how google provides results. Google it!! Now I can see how basic research skills are missing horribly for most of you. People can’t research how google works, but are still posting wrong info about it. People not reading threads and missing posted links. People not reading articles they posted. I’m arguing about research with people who can’t properly research.
Lol...Dr Google has caused a FLOOD of patients to our ERs and is usually quite incorrect.
It's ok at best for forming a partial differential diagnosis.
I do like that people want to be more informed, but there are so many nuances, pertinent positives/negatives, and subtle signs/symptoms that folks don't get.
