I know that but his teachings are on point. Sugar is toxic. We all know this. Supplements aren’t Rx.

He is still not "one of the top docs in the world". He is an internet salesman.

Even then, Doctors at the office don't work for free either. Most of the times they prescribe medications instead of natural supplements. Unless you are seeing a Naturopath doctor.

So called natural supplements are quackery. They will not help you reduce your cholesterol. The contents of so called natural supplements are not regulated, have little to no quality control, and may actually be dangerous.

Ok so what should I be taking? No medication and no supplements? What about fish oil?

You should be taking whatever you, your personal physician, and any other licensed/certified professional in your health care network have determined together to be the most appropriate thing for you to take.

They might not feel you should take anything, but instead, work on your weight and overall fitness level. They might prescribe prescription meds. They might recommend supplements. They might suggest a combination of all three.

But this medical forum is not the replacement of your doctor. We are not qualified to answer your question. Your doctor, however, is.

Fish oil works for some people. It didn't help me much at all, so I stopped taking it.

Honestly, you are overworking this. In your situation, I would just accept the numbers as they are and move on.
