Among the 147 people who got the booster in the same arm as the first dose, 67% of them had what are known as "killer T cells," which are "cytotoxic" cells that are engineered to attack and destroy virus-infected cells.

But among the 156 participants who received the booster in the opposite arm — only 43% of them had the killer T cells.

Not starting a vaccine argument. You're decision to get it, or not. But if you do, this small study is interesting and makes sense

They are always learning new things about Covid and the vaccine. Who knows what they will discover next.

I'm hoping this Covid mess goes away, but good to know that getting the booster in the same arm is better... anything to tip the odds in your favour.

This Fall and Winter season will reveal where we are with this virus. I for one will get the booster on the same arm... even though I hate needles :P

I got all four of my injections, the original and three boosters, in the same shoulder (left) and will get the next booster in the same shoulder as well. I'm not really interested in what the study you're posting about says about it.

What about when you get a flu shot and a covid booster on the same day? I did that last fall and I'm still alive. I plan to do the same thing in October despite objections by my father who believes what he reads in the epoch times and natural news. My mother is the same way. Anybody who knows my posts knows I like to criticize the progressive establishment but I'm an equal opportunity criticizer of all sides and all leadership in all nations I'm just looking for the truth. I trust science and believe in vaccination so that is my position here.

Most people get more inflammation on an ongoing basis from the foods they eat and the lifestyle they live. Pizza, beer, no exercise, BMI above 35, but they're worried about a vaccine. LOL.

I'm not worried about which needle goes into what arm.

Yup. I'll be getting both in either late September or early October. The timing will depend on how many people come down with the flu in my area within the next three weeks. Since I'm left handed, my "sore" arm will be the right arm.
