You might also want to talk to a doctor because it sounds like you might sweat excessively and there are treatments for that.
I honestly don't sweat excessively. I think that I've just been in the habit of over using anti-perspirant for so long that I feel naked without it. Silly, I know, but it's something I'll have to get over. Thanks again for all the replies!

Oh, sorry I thought that Veuvegirl's reply was from you. Although I still think you might like Mitchum.

No need to apologize. It's hard to keep track of who posted what sometimes. Thanks for the recommendation. I've never tried Mitchum before.

Using topical solutions and prescription deodorants stop this. You put deodorant on before bed, because it prevents you from sweating as much during the day. I still sweat a bit, but nothing embarassing. I don't mind sweating like crazy if I am exercising or gardening. But there are times, that it just isn't necessary.
I understand.
I know that some people have this issue and i can understand the need for antiperspirant.
I also think that there may be a systemic imbalance that causes such a symptom and this is where a more holistic approach may be helpful.

I value a different kind of "becoming" ... but i hear you.
We've all been conditioned in this way.

I stopped using antiperspirant years ago. While I was using it, I noticed that it didn't really work very well, because I always had yellowish "sweat" stains in the armpits of my white shirts.

After I stopped using antiperspirant, I realized that those weren't sweat stains, they were *antiperspirant* stains. So now I can wear white tops again.

It's just another product that some corporation wants to sell you. Then the same corporation can also sell you detergents promising to remove the "sweat" stains from your clothing.
