Slavery amongst tribes in Africa existed way before Europeans ever arrived and it still does in three African countries today.
And, BTW: earlier in human history, Jews were enslaved. Ever seen the Egyptian pyramids. They were not built by union workers making prevailing wage with benefits.
The US currently still has slaves. Its called minimum wage.
The Jews were perfectly available. Same with Slavs, Arabs, Asians, Native Americans, etc. Why Africans?
These populations were not 'available' as they were not in an existing slavery system. To enslave those people would have required dangerous and costly wars.
In the African slave trade, a European slave ship could anchor off the coast from a trading center, make a deal and send payment ashore, then have slaves loaded on the ship without ever setting foot on land.

Define brothers.
Only in the modern Western worldview does the concept of unity based simply on skin color or even geographic origin have even the slightest currency.
Also, the Egyptian pyramids were not built by Jewish slaves.

Africans were viewed as having a constitution that would hold up in the heat and humidity of the New World, and they were also viewed as being capable of hard work without harming their health. American Indians were emslaved early on, but Europeans interpreted their deaths from foreign diseases as being caused by them working harder than their bodies could tolerate.
Furthermore, as Indians widely and quickly adopted Christianity it was viewed as wrong to keep them as slaves. Whereas by this time most African peoples along the coast had been exposed to Christianity for several generations without conversion, and thus it was viewed as more acceptable to enslave them as they had rejected the European efforts to make them brothers in religion.

It is well established in archaeological that the pyramids were not built by Jewish slaves; it is a myth that continues to persist.
@OP: Native Americans were enslaved in great numbers in colonial America. Indians were typically captured by other Indians and sold into slavery. The Westo were a great slave hunting society.
Jews were enslaved according to a big fat book you can find in every American hotel. Africans were enslaved because there was a ready market created by Arabs, African Chieftains and Portuguese.
You appear unfamiliar with the history and racial attitudes of the Japanese.
