I guess the title explains most of it, but it amazes me there are people that still think that not only was the downfall of the USSR a bad thing but there is actually anything about the satan-inspired communism that was good.

Now I will admit capitalism may not be near perfect but does anyone truly believe if they had to choose between a world where communism dominates everything and a world where capitalism dominates everything they would choose the communist world? To anyone who isn't mentally challenged it's as simple as asking who would you rather hang out with, Jesus, or Satan?

Well, to be honest: the Socialism is another form of the Communism.

The Communism is only good for the losers, who have only nothing but zero things to lose. Anyway, the noble name of the commies shall be given. But the Socialists have a government to distribute the resources. The Capitalists uphold the productives. Depending on the state heads or the peoples or the both to uphold the realms. These were the modern ideal social forms. The biblical idea is the Kingdom; the kingdom of Heaven.

So, to answer your question: when a person had nothing to lose, the Communism shall be a good idea. Couldn't blame them, because the unfortune events did happen. They were not insane.

The true insane people were just greedy for the thrones and their glories and powers.

Don't say I have not warned you.

Communism isn't the opposite of capitalism. That's a myth.

Communism is the opposite of free markets. But all human economic behavior (call it capitalism if you like) is essentially the same everywhere, whatever system is used to REGULATE it.

North Korea is VERY regulated. Hong Kong is probably the freest markets in the world. But the economic system is still the same. In North Korea, only the elites practice capitalism and get rich. In Hong Kong, everybody is allowed to make money and get rich if they can.

The only problem with Communism is there are people involved. And enough people will take more than they need and/or give less than they can to screw everything up for everybody. (I explained this to the editor of The Marxist Review once, over beers. I thought he was going to choke. )

True communism cannot be achieved but it is not a bad thing.

As I understand it Marx wanted Communism implemented in Germany first as an example of how it could be done. The Russians messed that up and we got Stalinism instead of Communism.

(BTW, I'm not a Communist, but I used to shoot them.)

Despite the obvious, there remains something in Communism that is very intoxicating as well as romantic. To marshal the vast resources of the State for "good" ends is very appealing when you do not ponder that vast ramifications of it.

There are even Americans who believe in the left-wing politicians like Hillary Clinton today.

Nothing new.

And right-wing fascism still abounds here. Nothing new.

Poster is mixing up Soviet Union communism as Satanism. All mixed up.
I suggest the poster read some books on the subject.

All of the Soviet based European countries had all sorts of religions before WWII and after WWII.
So Satanism it ain't.

Not sure post is about Socialism or Satanism. Or the former Soviet Union.
