I was born on the day of an ancient Roman festival to celebrate springtime, the goddess Flora, and Venus.
There was also a lunar eclipse on the night of my birth. Other than that nothing in the realm of history decorates my birthday cake.

Interestingly I was born the same as first space shuttle flight of Columbia. Interestingly, the name of the town I was born in is also Columbia Looks like Yuri Gagarin (first human space flight) was also on the same day. Also, the same date the American civil war started.

Never realized it until I saw this thread....but apparently I share a birthday with the infamous Jesse James....and both Jesse and I were born on the same date as the first Labor Day parade was held, in New York City.

Here's mine,

Moise Tshombe, former prime minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is kidnapped to Algeria.

Me & Pam Anderson were born 1 day, to the year, apart.

Jayne Mansfield died the day before I was born

I always tell people that I was born during the summer of love and that explains my sunny disposition

I was also born 6 weeks premature and write that off as that I couldn't wait until August to listen to Sgt. Pepper and I really wanted to be born so I could attend the Monterey Pop Music Festival.

Default August 4

Start of WWI, Gulf of Tonkin, creation of the Department of Energy....on the cheerier side August 4 is the date accepted for the invention of champagne.

Cheers,

mm
