Looks like a fun little project:

Homemade Flame Thrower

If I ever find out I have a month to live or something like that, I'm going to try building one, maybe even mix soap in the fuel.

Did you ever read "The Anarchist's Cookbook" when you were in grade school? I got in a lot of trouble over that book. Some of the most fun and the most trouble I've been in had something to do with the suggestion therein regarding mixing styrofoam and gasoline. Polystyrene dissolves readily in gasoline, burns like hell and sticks to anything. You can control the viscosity of the fluid by how much styrofoam you add. If you want to make a sticky incendiary device the mix would be something like 2 parts gasoline 1 part styrofoam by volume or if you want a munition that can be sprayed it would probably be more like 4:1 by volume.

NOTE: This is a bad idea. A really bad idea. Do not do this.

Try putting a 1/4 cup of toilet bowl cleaner (Bathroom Duck etc.) and a sheet of aluminum foil (rip off about 8-10 in.) wad it up long like a straw and put both (cleaner then foil) in a empty 2-liter plastic bottle (cap it tight then shake) throw down and get back and ready for a real blast!
You did'nt hear it from me!

I have heard but not experienced or done this. Take a 55 gal drum of jet fuel, mix in a couple of boxes of soap, put it on the perimeter and tape a claymore mine on the back. Detonate the mine when the enemy is in the wire. nasty!

Do not try this at home. Ever!

Full, you act like you want a job with the post office! lol I want to fix a smaller, tamer version. Nothing to ward off the evil villains, just melt the ice off the sidewalk!

May the Force be with you!
