It's very enjoyable to watch the Blackhawks frolic about at the bottom of the standings.
Don't look at the bottom, always look up. You know, look up to all those Cup banners we have hanging in the rafters at the UC. Its a good feeling! You guys should try it some time.

I know I am bummed that the Wild weren't perennial bottom feeders for a good 5 years to get the likes of Toews and Kane, maybe one day they'll get lucky enough. Sometimes it pays to suck .
The Wild only play when they feel like playing. When they feel like playing - usually when they're home - they're pretty good. When they don't feel like playing - usually on the road - they get roasted like in Pittsburgh and last night in Dallas. This team has the tendency to get lazy and flat out quit, and that's a horrible reflection on all of them, especially the coach. Outscored something like 25-6 in their past 6 road games. I'm sorry, I'm a fan and I'm happy they're in playoff contention, but they have still regressed from last season. It doesn't make any sense that they're able to throttle excellent teams like Tampa and Vegas, then go on the road and look like a disorganized junior squad.

I don't have much confidence that the current Wild regime could develop that kind of talent even if they were fortunate enough to acquire it. We're talking about a team that traded Bret Burns for Charlie Coyle here. Burns is now a Norris Trophy winner and Coyle is .........well.......Coyle.
I like the logo. Not crazy about the color scheme.
I still say the Wild should keep their current logo but switch to the North Stars color scheme. Vancouver did something similar years back when they put the "C" orca with their old school blue and green unis. The Wild should do the same thing. Go online, google Wild North Stars, click on images, and see some renderings of what that would look like. It's an amazing uniform. I suppose Dallas still has the naming rights, but they couldn't stop Minnesota from going back to green, gold and white.
There's always a first time for everything - as the Astros have proved in the World Series last year! LOL!
Yeah....after 52 years of floundering about. Wild fans gonna party down in roughly 34 years!
