This one is a bit light but it's an attractive rug:

Love this one but I'm afraid it might be too dark---not much noticable pattern but it's still nice.

Constantine Area Rug - Traditional Rugs - Wool Rugs - Rugs | HomeDecorators.com
That site is a great design source for me!

That's a nice transitional rug. I'm hoping for a rug with more color choices in it for her to pull other colors into her decorating. Chances are that her curtains will be a solid color instead of a pattern. I really think the carpet needs to have SOME red in it---to tie the room together with the sofas. I know they are bown, but there is a reddish tone to the brown. I'm afraid if she has a monochromatic rug, she'll just do green everywhere. The sofas will look just as out of place if she does that too.

That's be a heck of a lot easier, prevent a 'rug color error' and make the room look larger, wouldn't it?

I'll post pictures soon! I need to go to radio shack to buy the wire that connects my camera to my laptop. I need more than 24 hours in a day!

Not going to argue the point at all that the rug needs some cinnabar in it, that will tie the wood floor, sofas, and rug all together, as well as give all the color cues that the room needs to be properly accessorized.

Would this one work? Too light/no red? Thick Carpet Cream 8x11 Wool Green Isfan Area Rugs C42 - eBay (item 280619394953 end time Jan-28-11 12:48:05 PST)

kshe95girl, I spent two years in Ocala. Are you from there?

I love the rugs everyone has posted, don't mean to be ignoring them and only posting my own!

That ones better, but it still needs some cinnabar/terra cotta in it to tie everything together.
I've been in Ocala since 89, we bought another farm in Missouri (I'm from there) last year, so I go back and forth now, best of both worlds!
When were you here?

If you go back and look at what I posted, the all green one, and the palm leaf rug look a little more modern than the traditional ones, see the difference?
Really modern wouldnt work for that room.
