I was wondering, if you could have a choice for your faucets and shower fixtures, what would they be?
While you would think I would go with rose gold, I think that might go out of style after a while, so I am sticking with brushed nickel (bathrooms) and stainless steel (kitchen).
I am all for low maintenance. So, any finish that is easy to keep looking clean. Nothing shiny and pretentious, elaborated or high tech. I don't really ponder much on such things.
Didn't you just shop for fixtures?

Just got and installed my U by Moen Smart Faucet, the Arbor in Spot-Resist Stainless Steel.
I always had chrome because, to me, that was just how faucets should look. When I remodeled my guest bath a few years ago I found a light fixture that I had to have in brushed nickel so that's what I went with. I like it a lot, but I still like chrome too.
I'd go with whatever matches the rest of that bathroom.
One of the many (many!) things that irritate me is when the faucets are one finish and the towel racks, toothbrush holder, soap dish, etc are different.
Starting from new, water stains don't show quite as badly on brushed nickel to me.
As always, some random user votes "Other" without specifying. I don't understand why so many users are tempted to do that. Come on, what is the "Other"? I can't include every single finish known on the planet in this poll.

I'm going with brushed gold or champagne bronze because that's what was in our house originally. There have been several updates and of course there's chrome and brushed nickel. One bathroom has both! Another bathroom has chrome and black towel bars...It's a process to restore to original and update at the same time. My current restore is a full bath. It has the most retro cool light fixture. So I'm bringing back the champagne bronze fixtures to match it.
Note that when it comes to Moen, bathroom fixtures are Brushed Nickel, while kitchen fixtures are Stainless Steel. Brushed Nickel has a slightly warmer hue.
Delta has different versions of their stainless steel finish, such as Arctic Stainless, SpotShield Stainless, and Brilliance Stainless.

those finishes weren't added to your poll choices, though!?
