I have a TV, though.
Does our Ipad stand next to the commode count?? We do get Netflix on it.

There has never been a clock in any bathroom in any house I have ever lived in or bathroom that I have visited. There are usually few outlets and more important things to plug in then a clock.

I respectfully disagree. Unfortunately my 3 and 5 year old are not regimented enough yet

we did, then the steam got to it.

On the subject of tvs... once upon a time with cable, we can just add splitters and have yet another tv added to a room and it'd be no additional charge. Now with digital, every tv needs its own $5+/mo converter box. It's nice to have a tv everywhere, but too costly because of those monthly fees. Are you people doing over-the-air or something?

I spend as little time in the bathroom as possible. Its reason for existence is purely functional. In and out. Spending $$ for clock or a TV or a home theater (for heaven's sake!) would be ridiculous; I'd barely be in there long enough to see a 30-second commercial.

I have a clock in my bathroom so I can see how behind I am as I get ready in the morning for work.

This thread really points out how differently people view the use of their bathroom. I spend about an hour in mine every morning. I go downstairs, make me a cup of tea and bring it into my bathroom and sit on my vanity chair and enjoy it. Then I shower etc and get dressed, put on my make up, do my hair and all of that in my bathroom. Helps that my closet is in my bathroom as well. So a clock is essential.

I never thought of having a clock in our bathroom, but with my 15 year old son who plans his life and thinks up comedy routines in the shower, I may get one that hangs right in the shower!!! Thanks for the idea!

That's not it; I have a clock in the bathroom because I am not a morning person; I have to know how hurried I have to be because I hit the snooze on the alarm clock!

I used to - when I got dressed in the bathroom. Now, I normally sit on my bed with the news going on the tv while I put on my makeup. My routine can vary by 10-15 minutes each morning - just depends on if something catches my attention on the news, if I need to take a few minutes and scoop the litter boxes or refill their water/food bowls, if I need to press back over my clothes a bit, if my hair is not cooperating, if I am missing a shoe, or sometimes I even get a bit of a belly ache! A quick glance at a clock lets me know if I need to step it up or if I have plenty of time left.

It is also very helpful if I am wanting to take a relaxing bath, but get out at a certain time - like something coming on tv I want to watch, need to attend to dinner, etc.
