Definitely up for the job and really puttin a premium on the prep.
Can rent a terrazzo grinder from ahern for a very reasonable amount and I have found a few 100% solids epoxy kits online.
Any thought of muscle gloss vs' armor for brands?

My wife really wants the garage floor painted. I do too, but man, the prep required looks daunting. The garage floor in the house we purchased is pretty dirty and stained.

We did ours 5 years ago and it still looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again

We did epoxy for our garage and love it. I highly recommend looking at this site Garage flooring ideas, options, and tips | All Garage Floors to learn about epoxy floors as well as any other type of garage flooring that you might be interested in. It was extremely helpful for us.

The one thing that I learned that was most important was the flooring prep. The success of your floor when installing epoxy depends on how well it is prepared.

Consider installing CaesarStone tile, which will make your Garage look and feel larger. If tile is your style, choose a pattern larger than 12 inches to replicate a high end, contemporary feel. You can find them from any store or i prefer contacting
eskandaristone.com .They are very much professional and even have other option. eskandaristone.com
